He has showcased these varieties at very many shows around the UK on his vegetable displays. He is supported by his son Alwyn and wife Gwenda. They stock most everything a vegetable grower needs and many are very useful for other plants besides vegetables. They are in tune with the needs of vegetable growers and Medwyn has devoted a considerable amount of time and effort to support the National Vegetable Society. He has been their chairman and is now their president. There is hardly a single longstanding vegetable grower in the UK who doesn’t know Medwyn. I can say with my hand on my heart that Medwyn has contributed more to vegetable growing than anyone else that I know and he is truly a legend in his own lifetime.”
