BELAPPIA – Butterhead Winter Variety

This variety is probably the best I have ever grown during the Autumn winter period. I sow the seed in my propagator and transplant them into 60 cells before moving them on to raised beds in my cold polytunnel. The heads were large and heavy, and also very tasty. Sowing period late September to late January and harvest from mid-November to late April
