This is a New blanch leek bred by Ivor Mace FNVS , who bred and introduced the initial Welsh Seedling leek with huge success and is still winning with it. This New leek won at the Welsh Championships Show of the National Vegetable Society at St Fagans, Cardiff, in 2025. It was grown by Owain Roberts with three leeks all measuring 9 inche in girth and 18 inches to the button. A powerful grower with a strong root system that will be sure to win at many shows in the future. Posted to you in flat plastic containers from Mid December. On receipt, these seedlings must be grown in a heated greenhouse with a minimum night temperature of 50ºF. It would be beneficial to give them some bottom heat for the first few weeks.
